◆ Bicycle Rental (Self-Guided Cycling)

We offer bicycle rentals so you can explore Miyama at your own pace. These are not electric bikes, but they are equipped with 8-speed gears, making them comfortable for riding through the village roads and countryside landscapes.

Rental hours are from 12:00 on your check-in day until 12:00 on your check-out day. During your stay, you can enjoy cycling whenever you like and experience the quiet beauty of Miyama.

Price (tax included)
Adults: 2,200 JPY per person
Children: 1,100 JPY per person

Children’s bicycles
We have 20-inch and 22-inch bikes (2 of each size available).
Children’s helmets are also available.

Bicycles with child seats (for toddlers)
We have 2 bicycles equipped with child seats.
Price: 2,200 JPY (tax included)

Reservation Notes
Children’s bicycles and bicycles with child seats are shared among all our properties, so availability is limited. Reservations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. We strongly recommend booking in advance.

Same-day Requests
In principle, same-day rentals may not be available. If we are able to accommodate your request, please note that it may take time to prepare and inspect the bicycles. In particular, children’s bicycles and bicycles with child seats may be difficult to arrange on the same day, so advance reservations are recommended.

◆ Guided Cycling Tour (Overnight Guests Only)

For guests who would like a deeper experience of Miyama, we offer a guided cycling tour. A local guide will take you beyond the typical sightseeing spots, introducing hidden countryside paths and seasonal landscapes that are difficult to find on your own.

Along the way, you will gain insight into Miyama’s traditional lifestyle—living in harmony with nature through farming and forest management. If we are lucky, we may even meet local residents and have a chance to chat, offering a rare glimpse into everyday life in this village.

Tour Schedule (2 tours daily)
Morning Tour: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Afternoon Tour: 1:30 PM – 4:30 PM

Price (insurance fee and tax included)
1–2 persons: 7,000 JPY per person
3–8 persons: 5,000 JPY per person

From 60 days to 1 day prior

Cancellation Policy
Free cancellation up to 72 hours in advance
72–24 hours prior: 50% charge
Within 24 hours or same day: 100% charge

Participation Conditions
This tour is available to overnight guests only.
Children are not allowed to participate alone and must be accompanied by an adult.

For safety and hygiene reasons, the tour is generally limited to one group per session.
