Miyama EISA is a peaceful thatched-roof retreat located along the clear waters of the Yura River. Throughout your stay, you will hear the gentle sound of the flowing river, while the mountains across the river change their colors beautifully with each season. Surrounded by pristine air and nature, this is a place where time slows down and the mind can truly rest.

◆The Origin of the Name “EISA”

This house has long been known locally by its traditional house name, “Eisa.” The river below was also called “Eisa-ura,” and it was once a beloved swimming spot for local children. In honor of this history, we named this property “Miyama EISA.”

◆Dog-Friendly Stay

Miyama EISA warmly welcomes guests traveling with dogs. Enjoy a relaxing stay in nature with your beloved companion.

◆Main Farmhouse & Thatched-Roof Bathhouse

Next to the main farmhouse, you will find a separate thatched-roof bathhouse. There is also a wooden deck where you can relax while listening to the sound of the river. The mountains across the river offer breathtaking seasonal scenery, creating a truly peaceful atmosphere.

◆EISA VILLA (Newly Added)

With the addition of EISA VILLA, guests can now sleep in two separate groups between the main farmhouse and the villa. EISA VILLA features a comfortable bed and can accommodate two guests for sleeping. Some guests even say, “I want to live here,” after experiencing the calm and refined space.

◆The Shimoyoshida Village

This area is known as Shimoyoshida. It is located away from the main road, and most vehicles passing through are only those of local residents. Because of this, the surroundings remain quiet, peaceful, and safe. We highly recommend enjoying a walk or cycling around the village.

◆Parking

We provide spacious on-site parking, allowing guests to park comfortably with ease.

◆Thatching Experience (Optional Activity)

A thatching experience is available as an optional activity at our thatching experience house. We invite you to enjoy a hands-on experience of traditional communal work once practiced by villagers and craftsmen in Miyama.

◆Village Walks & Scenic Cycling

Shimoyoshida is a quiet and safe village, perfect for peaceful walks and scenic cycling. Enjoy the riverside scenery, fresh air, and the authentic atmosphere of rural Japan.

Bicycles are available for rental with an additional fee.
