I spend much of my time on the roof,
working quietly above the village.
From there, I can see the rhythm of life —
people, seasons, and time moving slowly together.
Thatching is not simply a technique.
It is a way of understanding how humans once lived with nature.
I do not only repair roofs.
I try to preserve a way of life that is quietly disappearing.

These houses are not mine alone.
They belong to the village, to nature, and to time itself.
