Natasho House
Go to San Diego 2026

Thank you, America. A 200-year-old Japanese thatched-roof house, Natasho House, is crossing the ocean to begin a new life in San Diego. This story began with a government decision to demolish the house. Guided by courage, trust, and many helping hands, it has finally reached the moment of crossing the sea. In 2026, for the first time in history, a traditional Japanese thatched-roof house will rise in the beautiful Japanese Friendship Garden & Museum. May this house reconnect people with their memories and ancestors, and become a lighthouse — a place that reminds us what “home” truly means. I promise to do everything in my power to make this project happen. If you wish, walk this journey together with us.
